Fresh duds for Qantas pilots

New look for LAN
LAN and TAM Airlines and their affiliates have been consolidated together under a new global brand, LATAM. The move sees new aircraft, uniform and airport designs being introduced, and new products and services that will be rolled out over the next three years. There is also a new website, latam.com. The first flight of a LATAM-branded aircraft, a Boeing 767, departed from Rio de Janeiro on Sunday on a one-off journey to Geneva to collect the Olympic torch. It returns to Brasilia, the starting place of the Rio 2016 Olympic Torch Relay between more than 300 Brazilian cities, today.
We like...
The vast variety of weird and wacky museums around the Taranaki area. There's everything from taxidermy in New Plymouth to Fun Ho toys in Inglewood and the Whalers and Traders ride at the Tawhiti Museum in Hawera - which needs to be seen to be believed.
We don't like...
Getting stuck in piles of traffic despite giving yourself plenty of time to drive back to Auckland after a long weekend. And we especially don't like when people you've been driving behind for an hour at 80km then speed up on the straights so you can't get past them. Grrrr...
