Pre-departure RATs, supervised testing, Covid insurance - travel in the time of Omicron is a whole new beast.
As of Thursday last week, Kiwis from Australia were no longer required to self-isolate, and the privilege was extended to travellers from all other countries at midnight on Friday.
However,
conditions apply - and it's these that can make a much-needed trip feel like a logistical nightmare (beyond the usual logistical nightmare of fitting stuff in suitcases, remembering your passport and getting to the airport on time).
