Famous American YouTuber “MrBeast” claims he has rented the Egyptian Pyramids for 100 hours to create a video for his channel.
James Stephen “Jimmy” Donaldson has been creating videos on YouTube since 2012 under the alias MrBeast and is the most-followed creator in the world, with 500 million followers across social media according to Forbes.
Fast-paced and highly produced, his videos typically feature elaborate challenges and giveaways of up to US$5m. According to Donaldson, a video in the future will take place in a unique setting, the Pyramids.
Donaldson shared the news on Olympian Noah Lyles’ podcast “Beyond the Records”. The podcast is yet to air, but Lyles shared a preview of the episode on TikTok.
“We got all three of the Pyramids of Egypt for 100 hours. I’m gonna do a video where they let me explore anywhere I want in the Pyramids,” Donaldson is filmed saying.
