HIT
New Zealand! I think it's one of the most beautiful countries in the world. You are blessed by having coastline at your doorstep, whether it's north, south, east or west. As a surfer and fisherman, I love being able to explore the coast and I got some of the best waves I've ever had in my life . . . and actually have caught some of the best fish I've ever caught over here. I absolutely love Raglan. Being able to paddle out into a lineup, not being a local, and being treated like family and warmly welcomed is quite unique. I was treated extremely well in the surf, which adds to the whole experience. I just keep bringing it back to the great energy and the vibe. It seems people are happy there and that radiates through everything. I don't think there's an unhappy person in Raglan, except for the guy that I accidentally dropped in on!
MISS
I think every travelling miss or negative experience is an opportunity to learn from, because it's challenging to travel. They're going to lose your luggage. Planes are going to be delayed, things aren't going to be on time for you. All of these things give you an opportunity to work out how you are as a human being and how you're going to respond to those challenges. Sometimes you end up somewhere that you didn't want to go, but you end up having a great experience from it.
