HIT
My all-time travelling hit most definitely has to be my trips to Hawaii. The vibe is great and the people there are so welcoming and genuine. I stayed in the heart of Waikiki which many may consider quite commercial, but I absolutely love the busy little city covered in tiki torches. Not to mention the great places to eat like Dukes. The beaches outside Waikiki are a must-see every time I'm there. Kailua, Hanauma Bay, Waimea . . . and while you're on the shore, the Laie shrimp trucks are incredible.
MISS
My travelling miss has to be the trip of a lifetime I missed out on. I had a trip to Europe planned, where I would be there for an entire month. The Eiffel Tower and the Louvre would have been just a couple of my highlights. Partying in Mykonos and tasting delicious food in Santorini would've been the cherry on top. Two days before I was to leave for this amazing trip, I got the call to say I had landed the role as Esther on Shorty. Bitter-sweet moment. But it was bye-bye Europe and hello Ferndale. For now at least.
