I don't like digital alarm clocks that are lit up like a Christmas tree beside my bed, either at home or while travelling, because they disturb my sleep.
I was, therefore, very pleased to find a clock which doesn't upset the sleeping process but does provide the necessary wake-up call when required.
When set-up, this clock sits nicely and if I need to know the time during the night, gentle pressure applied to the frame lights it up for a brief moment. The numerals are big and easily readable. And the actual alarm system is fairly simple to operate and has snooze control.
As you'd expect with a travel clock, the Digiclock Big Screen Alarm is readily portable, battery-operated, slim-line, easy to fit into a luggage pocket and well protected by its plastic cover.
The clock costs $35.99, plus freight, from www.globaltravelproducts.co.nz
