This is the story of a remarkable journey from Sydney, across Australia, the Malay Peninsula, Central Asia, Russia and Europe to London on a decommissioned Australia Post motorbike (it would have been even more remarkable if it was a simple bike).
To be honest it's not the sort of travel book I enjoy because it's just about the journey, offering no great insights into the countries traversed, no amazing discoveries and little sense of history, geography or culture.
But it's a good yarn, takes the reader to a lot of fascinating places most of us will never reach and has plenty of entertaining anecdotes ... what more could you ask for really?
