A group of tourists were left fuming after being charged €82 ($AU140) for just seven soft drinks and a milkshake after visiting a restaurant in Rhodes, Greece.
The startling cost is the latest in a number of stung tourists who have faced higher-than-expected food bills on holiday, news.com.au reported.
Vikki Scott was on holiday with four of her friends and family when they were charged the bill after drinking at The Gate in Old Rhodes Town.
The most expensive drink was a whopping €14 for a milkshake ($NZ24).
"Went to The Gate restaurant in Old Rhodes Town for a drink," she wrote on Facebook.
The restaurant has just one star on TripAdvisor, with 103 "terrible" ratings out of 161.
Last month, a tourist was charged €591 ($NZ1006) for just six pieces of calamari while also in Greece at a beach bar in Santorini.
The US Army soldier from Brooklyn in New York took to TripAdvisor to warn other travellers of a hotspot in Greece, saying he and his friends were ripped off to the tune of $NZ1423 total for a light beachside lunch in Mykonos.
The soldier detailed his trip to DK Oyster in a terse, blistering review after getting the staggering bill for six plates of calamari, three Caesar salads, six beers, two waters and a glass of tomato juice.
