The spectacular northern end of the Coromandel Peninsula is the setting for the Kona Colville Connection mountainbike adventure race on March 11. The 70km ride is tough stuff, although those wanting something a little less gruelling can go for the 44km or 24km loops.
To add to the atmosphere, Colville School will turn on a carnival and Coromandel Town will have live entertainment on March 12. Entries close March 1 and there are no entries on the day. For more information phone 021 684 085 or use the links below.
