Time to paint the town green

Auckland's Irish community is ensuring no one can ignore St Patrick's Day on Monday.

The St Patrick's Festival Trust has organised an array of events, including a free party bus this Friday that will visit the city's Irish pubs; a St Patrick's Day parade in Queen St this Saturday at noon, followed by an Irish music festival in Aotea Square; a Wearin' o' the Green community event at Ellerslie; a Gaelic football match; a St Patrick's banquet and a festival mass in St Patrick's Cathedral on Monday.
