Air New Zealand has advised travel agents that anyone wanting to travel on an aircraft has to have in their possession a "ticket" simply as proof of purchase.
It may be in electronic form but they need a piece of paper to say so.
Surveys show as many as 19 passengers a week front for flights without their "tickets."
