The winners of the trip to Paris

Two lucky Travel Herald readers are getting ready to fly Cathay Pacific to Paris after winning our holiday competition.

Christine Smith, an English teacher at a primary school on Auckland's North Shore, is already planning her trip after being told of her win.

"I've never won anything before," she said. "I'm going to be my husband's best friend when he hears I've won - it's brilliant."

Christine's entry was the first correct answer pulled from a pile of around 10,000 envelopes by Ian Herald, Cathay's marketing services manager.

Christine and her husband Warwick now have return flights to the most romantic city in the world and two nights' accommodation at the Hotel Concorde Saint-Lazare.
