Australian tour company Peregrine has trekked a long way since it began walking and climbing holidays in the Himalaya 25 years ago.
This year its Annapurna Adventure pioneers a route offering ridgeline views of the Annapurna range and the chance to experience traditional village life.
The 12-day trip departs Kathmandu weekly between September and May, costing $2280 land only.
Peregrine, which takes more people trekking in the Himalaya than any other company, has almost 40 trips in Nepal, India, Tibet and Bhutan, ranging from non-trekking trips to high altitude climbs.
