The owners of Seabourn Pride call it one of their ultra-luxury megayachts, though many of us would describe it as a large cruise ship.
The all-suite accommodation for 208 passengers on Seabourn Pride is now even better after a $20 million refurbishment which included French-style balconies being added to 36 suites, featuring full-length sliding glass doors for panoramic views.
Until April, Seabourn Pride will make journeys of 14 to 18 nights in South American waters. Ports of call include Chile, Peru, Ecuador and cruising the Panama Canal, the Caribbean to Calica in Mexico and the Florida Straits to Fort Lauderdale.
Cruise-only fares start at $12,349 a person twin-share, which is 30 per cent less than brochure prices. The price covers luxury accommodation, gourmet dining, wine with lunch and dinner, all entertainment and onboard activities and 24-hour room service. There are no gratuities. And if you have sailed with Seabourn or Cunard before, you get an extra 10 per cent off your fare.
