The 86,000-tonne Carnival Spirit, the 16th vessel in the Carnival Cruise Lines fleet, will lead the way in fun-ship cruising when it enters service in April.
The 2124-passenger ship being built in Helsinki, Finland, includes a wedding chapel, large conference centre, a supper club by the huge winged funnel and a spectacular wraparound promenade.
The first voyage will be a 16-day Panama Canal trip, followed by Alaska and Hawaii cruises.
Of the ship's 1062 staterooms, most with private verandahs, 80 per cent will have an ocean view.
