Tennis star Andy Murray has invested millions into his luxury Scottish hotel after purchasing the sprawling estate in 2012. Housed in a Victorian country house, the hotel offers a full Scottish breakfast, Egyptian cotton linens, fishing on a private loch and, of course, a tennis court.
Hugh Jackman loved this Gold Coast bush hideaway so much he invested in it and built his own house next door. The retreat focuses on organic living, spa treatments, movement and relaxation and holds regular "vital wellness seminars" in a "dedicated low tech environment". Sounds like the perfect escape from Hollywood.
Abba's Benny Anderson bought this 1930s Art Deco cinema turned boutique hotel in Stockholm in 2003. Located in Carmel-by-the-Sea, the boutique hotel has been a landmark of the area since 1929.
