Teddy bears' big day out in Christchurch

If you're joining your Cantabrian cousins in the New Year, or just visiting Christchurch to explore the city, take your teddy bear.

Teddy bears and their owners, young and old, local and just visiting, are invited to converge on North Hagley Park on January 13 for a lot more than a picnic.

Music, paddle boats, clowns, kids' karaoke and food stalls are part of the annual Sunday event, beginning at noon.
