A display called Jewelled is a collection of personal adornments, some more than 150 years old, while others are recent creations by contemporary New Zealand artists, all inspired by the Pacific. The exhibition is open at Te Papa in Wellington until March 17 and entry is free.
Another display, Masquerade, explores romance and courtship. This show is open until mid-April and admission free.
