Taupo's half-marathon is one of the country's leading events, to be held on August 3.
It caters for both walkers and runners, with runners starting at 9am and walkers at 9.05am.
The course is a flat, scenic loop on the edge of the lake and running surfaces include highway, footpath, formed track and some firm farmland.
