Talking of travel

Don't you hate it when you return from a holiday with travel yarns and great photos, but your non-travelling friends aren't interested?

The Auckland Overland Travel Club is a group of like-minded travellers who meet once a month to swap stories.

As well as inviting speakers, the club encourages members to make presentations.

The club meets on the second Monday of every month in Greenlane, and is planning an open night for new members on August 11.
