The Centenary of Flight is the major theme of an international airshow across the Tasman next year.
Avalon Airport at Geelong - about an hour from Melbourne - will host the Australian International Airshow from February 11 to 16.
The Wright brothers, Orville and Wilbur, made the first engine-powered flight in 1903, and there will be an emphasis on the history of flight as a major tribute to the pioneering aviators, including static and flying displays by a vast array of vintage aircraft.
