A new tourist attraction in Canada's Rockies sends daredevils on a thrilling rollercoaster ride down the side of a mountain.
While riders have control over how fast they travel on the Pipe Mountain Coaster, it can reach top speeds of 41km/h as it passes through bare ski slopes, forests and even a tunnel under the road.
A point-of-view video released by Revelstoke Mountain Resort in British Colombia gives an exhilarating preview of the ride's twists and turns over 1.4km with a 279m drop in elevation.
The ride is priced at CAD$19 ($21.47) for adults and CAD$16.15 ($18.25) for children and seniors, and is part of an effort to attract tourist to the mountains in the off-season.
