Sun Peaks Resort in British Columbia will host its third annual Icewine Festival this northern winter, an event which combines skiing and the apres-ski tastings of the region's fine wines. Icewines are rich, sweet wines made from frozen grapes.
The 2001 Icewine Festival is held January 19-21. Apart from the cost of getting there, weekend packages start at $C259 ($438) and include two nights' accommodation (twin share), two days' skiing and a ticket to each festival event.
