Surf the Gold Coast

The Gold Coast's third annual surfing expo will be held in Coolangatta, Queensland, on March 10 and 11 next year.

The region is the centre of the Australian surf industry, with many of the leading-brand surf companies based there. The Association of Surfing Professionals has also moved its headquarters from California to Coolangatta.

The Expo also coincides with two premiere annual Gold Coast events, the Billabong Pro and the World's Biggest Surf Party.

The Billabong Pro is a world-rating surfing contest which attracts premium wave-riding talent. The Australian SLS Championships are part of the World's Biggest Surf Party, a surf and beach-themed carnival staged by the Gold Coast community.
