Broadband internet provider inter-touch has settled a 120,000-room deal with Bass Hotels and Resorts which includes brands such as Hotel Intercontinental, Crowne Plaza and Holiday Inn.
The deal makes inter-touch, an Australian company, the world's largest provider of broadband internet access services to the hospitality industry.
Inter-touch now has 150,000 hotel rooms. Under the contract, guestrooms and conference rooms at 570 Bass hotels in 77 countries will be eligible to join inter-touch services.
Inter-touch directly address the needs of business travellers and meeting organisers by offering a connection that is fast and easy to use, and aims to provide other technological services such as video-on-demand and video conferencing.
