A five-star, 19-floor hotel is the latest addition to all-suite accommodation on offer in Adelaide.

The Allegra, opening next April, will have 202 suites, a restaurant, cafe and bar, plus conference and gym facilities.

Another luxury hotel with 83 suites opens in March next year in what was the city's Treasury Building. The historic Victoria Square building has been leased by the hotel's operators for 99 years.

All-suite hotels are popular with business visitors and holiday makers seeking to base themselves in the city for longer stays.
