Cedar House, an Edwardian mansion in central Gisborne previously called Pinehurst Manor Restaurant, has reopened as an upmarket bed-and-breakfast and for small functions.
Restored to much of its original charm the property, owned by Carole and Derek Green, has been used as a family mansion, private hotel, guesthouse and as St Winifred's School for girls.
