And the bad? The only downside is becoming accustomed to this place and then having to return home to normality.
What's in the neighbourhood? Vineyards, as far as the eye can see. The town of Tanunda is a short drive away.
Toiletries: Appelles Apothecary and Lab shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion, which were all very nice. There was also a pot of lavender bath salts to soak with — of course, I took the opportunity.
Food and drink: The main restaurant is The Appellation, run by executive chef Ryan Edwards. The food is locally sourced and the sommelier can make wine pairing suggestions for each course. For a more informal meal, Bar Louise has spectacular views and burgers to match. I had meals worth writing home about at both restaurants.
The bed: A king-sized bed with crisp fresh linen. There was a good selection of pillows and I slept wonderfully — although it's hard not to after all that wine.
A room with a view? My suite looked out over the endless rows of grapevines. The courtyard was the perfect place to watch the sunset, which I did every night.
Bathroom: Huge, with two sinks, a spa bath and an impressive three showers. Two are indoors (a standard and a rainfall) and one is outside. You'll find yourself wanting to shower outside every day, just for the novelty.
Free Wi-Fi? Yes, and it was very fast and reliable. The TV has Chromecast built in and the Wi-Fi streamed Netflix to it without any problems.
Noise: So quiet and peaceful it's beyond belief.
Room service: One night, when I couldn't find the energy to drag myself over to the restaurant, I had the best cheeseburger of my life delivered from the bar. An A+ room service experience.

Value for money: Like I said, worth every cent.
Exercise facilities: There's a gym and a beautiful infinity pool — another great place to watch the sunset. But don't bother working out, just enjoy yourself.
