It's hard to choose the best beach, but Main Beach at Noosa is the jewel in the crown. Walks such as
the Caloundra Coastal Pathway from Bulcock Beach to Lake Currimundi are unmissable.
Perhaps plan your trip around cultural activities such as the Australian Body Art Festival held at Eumundi in May - an extravaganza of body-artists, face-painters, traditional artists, pavement artists and wearable art parades.
The Noosa Long Weekend Festival in June is 10 days of theatre, literature, music, dance, film, visual arts, cuisine and barrier-breaking forums. Then there's the Noosa Jazz Festival in September.
