London's oldest cathedral, Southwark Cathedral, has a new visitors centre, with a permanent exhibition called the Long View of London.
Touch-screen computers show artefacts uncovered in recent excavations and cameras give views of London from the top of the tower, contrasting with a series of panoramas recorded since the 16th century.
There is also a 24-hour time lapse, 360-degree view that is recorded and projected onto a dish, and a theatre traces the contribution of the building to local and national history.
