Soothing waters in the Waikete Valley

The Waikete Valley boasts thermal pools that have been bubbling out of the ground for hundreds of years. They are 32 km out of Rotorua, and 6km off the main highway to Taupo,

Just far enough from the main tourism trail, the pools have had a $200,000 upgrade. Camping facilities for motorhomes and tents are available.

A family pass costs $12, adults are $5, children under 14, $2.50, and under 5, $1.
