Slice of rural life

The only show of its kind in the Manukau region, just south of Auckland, the Clevedon A & P Show is a slice of rural life on display for two days.

Held this Saturday and Sunday, its attractions include numerous breeds of horses, dairy cattle, beef cattle, goats, sheep and sheep dog trials, and a children's farmyard.

Animal psychologist and Funny Farm television programme presenter Mark Vette will be a special guest. There is also a food and wine enclosure, trade displays and amusement rides.

The Clevedon Showgrounds are in Monument Rd, Clevedon. Entry is $5 for adults and $2 for children between 9am and 5pm. Parking is free.
