TUROA
Firm-packed 125cm base on upper field. Most lifts operational. Staff hoping for a fine weekend for the Export Gold Big Air Competition on Saturday.
MT HUTT
Packed winter snow on a firm 45cm base. All lifts operating. Terrain skiiable: 100 per cent beginner, 50 per cent intermediate, 15 per cent advanced. Unsettled weekend weather predicted including southerly change and possible snowfalls. Canterbury Ski Championships this weekend.
CARDRONA
Dry packed powder on upper mountain. Current snow base is between 40-100cm. All lifts and facilities operating. Forecast for the end of the week and into this weekend is for unsettled conditions, possibly bringing some snow. Saturday: inter-field junior ski racing.
TREBLE CONE
Dry packed powder on upper mountain on and off piste, with a snow base of up to 1m. Variable conditions on lower mountain. All lifts operating. Terrain park open. Snow showers expected end of week. K2/Racer's Edge Off Piste Team Challenge on Sunday.
CORONET PEAK
Firm-packed winter snow base of 50-60cm on the upper mountain, 30-40cm on the lower mountain. All lifts operating. Primo Halfpipe 2 open. Southerly showers bringing snow expected in next few days. Weather changeable over weekend. New Zealand Masters Grand Slalom on Saturday.
REMARKABLES
90-100cm base on upper mountain, 70cm on lower mountain. All facilities operating. Tubing park open. Southerly snow showers predicted.
