WHAKAPAPA

Well-packed 156cm base on the upper mountain, with 75cm on the main beginners' slope. Most runs and lifts are open. Fine weather and light south-westerlies predicted for the weekend. Tomorrow: Columbia Ultracross relay.

TUROA

The snow base has hit the 2m mark, with 10-15cm of fresh snow. Most lifts operational. Weather changeable.
Three-day women's ski and snowboard improvement programme starts on Wednesday.

MT HUTT

Fairly soft snow base averaging 2m, with a few centimetres of fresh snow. All runs and lifts are open. Weekend forecast is for sunny weather. South Island
Secondary Schools Skiing Championships on Saturday. CanTeen Big Air benefit event on Sunday.

CARDRONA

Winter snow on the upper mountain, with light spring conditions on the lower field. The current snow base is
60-120cm. All lifts operational and 3 halfpipes normally open. Low temperatures. Unsettled weather expected to clear up on Friday afternoon for a fine weekend. Urge Snowrider Series on Friday.

TREBLE CONE

Upper mountain has a 1.4m base off-trail, with 60cm on the groomed trails. Spring-like conditions on the lower
mountain. All runs and lifts open. Possible snowfalls today. Fine weather predicted for the weekend. Saturday: Base/Urge Triple Competition.

CORONET PEAK

Winter snow on the upper mountain, with an average base of 80cm. The lower field has a 50-60cm soft snow base base. Off-piste skiing conditions variable. All runs and lifts are open. Overcast weather and moderate
north-easterly winds at present. Milo Continental Cup today and tomorrow.

REMARKABLES

Packed powder snow base averaging 120cm on the upper mountain and 90cm on the lower trails, with 3cm of fresh snow. All slopes and lifts open. Snowing lightly with moderate north-easterly winds.
