Has been closed for the last five days due to high winds and poor visibility.
Has a 50/50 chance of opening today. The field had 5-10cm fresh snow on Tuesday, leaving the upper field with an average base of 1.95m. More snow forecast next few days. Should clear by weekend. Bacardi Extreme festival starts tomorrow.
MT HUTT
Gusty westerly winds forced the field to close yesterday. An average snow
base of 2m over the area. Field open until Labour Weekend.
CARDRONA
All lifts operating with mainly clear skies. Moderate westerly winds and cool temperatures. Mainly fine weather predicted. Dry packed powder with 30cm new snow at the beginning of the week. Current snow base between
0.8m-1.8m. Field closes Sunday.
CORONET PEAK
Some lifts open at this field which has an average base of 0.7m on the upper slopes. Very changeable conditions including gusty winds and snow.
REMARKABLES
Was closed yesterday with overcast conditions, snow and moderate winds. The field has an average base of 1.15m with 5cm fresh snow yesterday. Staff hope it will clear for the weekend.
