Spring skiing with a snow base of 110cm. Happy Valley now closed, all upper mountain T-bars operating. Tomorrow – fine weather expected. Saturday – cloudy. Channel Z Whakapapa Snowboard Fest finishes tomorrow. Should be open until end of October.

TUROA

Variable weather over the past week. Typical spring conditions: snow softening during day with an average base of 165cm on upper slopes. Forecast fine and clear tomorrow-Saturday. Seven skiiable lifts and terrain parks operating. Tomorrow: Giant Dummy Downhill. Weekend: K2 Powderhorn Snowboard Challenge.

MT HUTT

Has not opened many days for the last two weeks due to ferocious high winds. Excellent spring skiing when weather clears, with average 170cm base. Open until Labour Weekend.

REMARKABLES

Open until Labour Weekend. Average base of 120cm on the upper slopes and 90cm on the lower mountain. Southerly cold front expected. 100% terrain skiiable.
