The field has a 1.5m average base, with 5-10cm snowfall in the last week. Most lifts operational. Packed powder on and off trail.

Deutz Open Masters and Lakes Express Multisport event this weekend. Weekend weather predicted to be changeable with possible snow flurries.

TUROA
Staff say the field has the best conditions seen for years. Snowfalls of about 25cm-30cm fresh snow over the week have boosted the base to 2.25m.

All facilities operating. All offtrails access. The second Big Air Competition is being held on Saturday. Variable weather forecast.

MT HUTT
A healthy firm-packed base of 2.2m with 20cm added over the last week. All facilities operating. Snow firm and softening during the day.

Big Family Weekend at the field this September 9 and 10. Southerly change expected with snow showers.

CARDRONA
Current snow base ranges between 50cm-1m. Good spring skiing. All facilities operating. Unsettled weather predicted for the next few days.
Saturday: Dynastar Ski Masters.
Sunday: Finlandia New Zealand Snowboard Masters.

TREBLE CONE
Snowing heavily at the time of this report. Recent snowfalls have added 20cm to the base bringing the upper mountain to a base of about 1m.

Dry winter snow. Variable conditions, clearing Sunday.

CORONET PEAK
Soft springlike snow with an average base of 70cm. Variable conditions off-piste. Most facilities and lifts operating.

Snow forecast during a patchy weekend.

REMARKABLES
A 1m base over the entire mountain with packed snow on the main trails. Good off-piste conditions. All facilities operating.
