WHAKAPAPA
The field had a snowfall of about 20cm last weekend, leaving the upper field with a packed powder base of about 1.5m. All upper mountain T-bars operating. Clear, frosty conditions expected on the weekend. Crater to Lake relay race on Saturday.
TUROA
The other side of Mt Ruapehu gained 50cm on the weekend to boost its base to 1.8m. Some lifts operating. Fine weather expected to continue. Export Gold Big Air Competition this Saturday.
MT HUTT
The field had its single biggest snowfall on record last Friday and Saturday with 1.8m snow falling, boosting the average base to 2m. Powder and packed powder on and off piste. All facilities and lifts operating. End of week and weekend should be fine and clear.
CARDRONA
Squeaky dry snow over the mountain, with base ranging from 60-120cm. All lifts operating. Great skiing and boarding on and off trails. Fine weather expected, with the possibility of some snow at the weekend.
TREBLE CONE
Small snowfalls have left the field with 80cm-1.4m base over the mountain. Packed powder on and off piste. All lifts operating. Masters Ski Race (Treble Cone leg) on Saturday. Possibility of more snow on the weekend, fine and clear tomorrow.
CORONET PEAK
Average snow depth is 70cm, with the last fall of 2cm on Monday adding to the base. Most lifts operating. 90-100 per cent terrain open. Packed powder on and off piste.
REMARKABLES
The last snowfall of 40cm last Friday boosted the base to 90cm. Dry tracked snow off piste. 100 per cent terrain skiiable. All facilities operating. Clear skies and cold temperatures expected to continue into the weekend.
