The luxury liner Superstar Virgo sails from Singapore every Sunday for a five-night trip that cruises into buzzing city ports and quiet waters.

For $1035 a person (plus $100 port tax and airfares) passengers can savour the cuisine of Malaysia and Thailand.

Shopping ranges from upmarket department stores and boutiques to bustling markets where bartering is the norm. The ship also calls at Awana Kijal Resort to take in the 18-hole golf course, watersports and beaches.
