Step back in time to small-town New Zealand when Silverdale celebrates its 150th anniversary.
About a 15-minute drive north from the Auckland Harbour Bridge, Silverdale has a week of activities starting this Saturday. People will be dressed in period costumes and the celebrations will include music, dancing and painting in the streets.
