Shakespeare Pacific-style in Wellington

The Dell at Wellington's Botanic Gardens is the setting for Summer Shakespeare.

From February 3-15, a talented cast of 40 transposes The Tempest to a Pacific setting.

The tale of redemption is spiced with magic, romance and comedy, and will be enhanced by music and island beats.

The Botanic Gardens cafe will sell picnic baskets throughout the season.

Daily performances 7.30pm; 2.30pm matinees on February 7 and 14. Adults $22 (grandstand), $16 (grass). Children under 12: $10.
