More than a dozen sculptures by high-profile and emerging artists will go on show in inner-city Sydney from October 29 to November 10.
The free exhibition, Sculpture in the City, will be held in Martin Place and will showcase contemporary sculptures by artists including Ron Robertson-Swann, Tom Bass, Lea Ferris and Marguerite Derricourt.
The exhibition was inspired by Sculpture by the Sea which has been held over the past four years along the Bondi to Tamarama cliff walk.
Sydney already offers strolling visitors and locals the Sydney Sculpture Walk, 10 major artworks that form a circuit throughout the city, and the Sydney Open Museum, the city's collection of outdoor monuments.
