A landmark is taking shape beside Glasgow's River Clyde in Scotland. The Science Centre is one of Britain's major millennium projects, costing $242 million.
Next month the centre's Imax theatre opens, followed next year by the 100m Glasgow Tower and the titanium-clad Exhibition Gallery, bringing science and technology to life.
Visitors pay only for the parts of the complex they visit or use. The centre can be found at 50 Pacific Quay, Glasgow.
