The Century in Bloom is the theme of this year's Floriade, an annual flower festival to celebrate spring in Canberra.
For 30 days, hundreds of thousands of colourful bulbs and annuals transform the usually green canvas of Canberra's Commonwealth Park. The festival runs from September 15 to October 14, and celebrates Australia's past 100 years with various flower displays that illustrate some of the country's milestones.
And on the same floral theme, visitors can also see the Tulip Farm, where tulips grow over six hectares alongside 1000 blossom trees.
