Scary sailing for landlubbers

Get a blurred view of Napier's Marine Parade while enjoying an adrenalin rush on a "blokart" - a mini land yacht on three wheels.

Twenty minutes in a blokart will have you scaring yourself silly before reaching the point of not wanting to give the kart back, says Mike Lansdown of Windspeed Hawke's Bay.

There are also blokart adventures for two or three hours on an 8km stretch of near-deserted beach.
