Travellers arriving at Faleolo International Airport will be exposed to some huge works of art commissioned for the renovated terminal.
The work consists of painted tiles depicting Samoan village life, wooden carvings and stained glass windows.
The final art piece to be installed will be a 22m high octopus, carved from a single tree trunk with its huge branches as the creature's tentacles.
