Salute the sun at Campbells Bay

The last evening of late-in-the-day sunshine will be acknowledged at Campbells Bay on Auckland's North Shore, tomorrow when daylight saving ends.

From 2pm to 5pm, Summer in the Bays organisers will provide equipment for bat and ball games, crawl-through tunnels for toddlers, moon-hoppers and other outdoor toys and games at the Huntly Reserve.

The event encourages families to "get outside and play together".
