Safari in style

Going on safari in Africa doesn't have to mean roughing it in trucks with more metal than upholstery.

Karibu Safaris runs a fully serviced safari with Meru-style tents that come complete with comfortable beds, linen, warm showers and a toilet.

There's still all the essence of sleeping under the stars, as you relax around a campfire at night, listening to the sounds of the bush.

Exploring is done in custom-built four-wheel-drive cruisers. Ten days touring - including a night at Victoria Falls Safari Lodge - costs $5536 a person, twin-share (excluding airfares). The tour departs every month for the rest of this year, except in August and December. It covers the Botswana reserves of Moremi and Chobe National Parks.
