Based in Wanaka (about an hour out of Queenstown), Alpine & Heli Mountain Biking takes action-packed three-day adventure tours deep in the heart of the area's wilderness, or bike trips down mountains accessed by helicopter or four-wheel-drive vehicles. Some rides are suitable for beginners.

All tours are guided and bikes and helmets are provided.
