Discovery, one of the best-known ships built in the Scottish city of Dundee, is celebrating its 100th year.
The royal ship, which was designed for Antarctic research and exploration, has its permanent home at Dundee's Discovery Point.
The ship carried out its most famous work under Captain Scott, exploring Antarctica from 1901 to 1904. Although it is open to the public all year, there will be special guided tours in June and September.
